Wasatch Wind is developing the largest wind farm in Wyoming along with approximately 15 supporting projects throughout the intermountain west. The company gained valuable local expertise through our development of the first commercial wind farm in Utah. Our regional focus and cost reducing technologies help us achieve better project success rates and quicker royalty stream payouts to landowners. Wasatch Wind is also developing a large off-shore wind project in Lake Erie. The lake’s unique combination of high winds and shallow waters extending far from shore make it an ideal wind resource. WW has secured development rights to more than 7000 MW’s of capacity located far from the shoreline. In order to avoid the cost escalators of offshore projects, the company is modifying our space frame tower and Hi-Jack installation system for offshore use.
