Capabilities and Expertise

Wasatch Wind's growing team of seasoned industry experts prepares us for successful wind energy projects with the greatest benefits for all stakeholders - including landowners, communities and our investors.

Project Management

The key behind every project is the project development management team, which keeps projects moving forward, quickly and efficiently.

Wind Resource Analysis

Wasatch Wind has developed a process of wind resource analysis to successfully identify superior wind resources that result in economically viable projects.

Land Use Planning and Permitting

Wasatch Wind’s team consists of experts in determining the land that is needed for a project and maneuvering effectively through the processes needed to secure the lands, both private and public. This includes siting Rights-of-Way, securing permits and the entitlement process.

Financing

Our team is well-versed in financing large-scale wind and energy and technology infrastructure projects. Developing a wind farm is a significant but rewarding investment. Our team looks for opportunities with the greatest return for our financial and community partners.

Environmental Siting

The concept of clean energy is the reason why we are in the wind business. Thus, ensuring our wind farms have little to no impact on existing land uses like ranching, farming or hunting, as well as on wildlife, land, water or cultural heritage, is of the utmost importance. We take this piece very seriously and have assembled a expert team to assess, avoid and mitigate environmental and cultural impacts in our project areas.

Landowner Relations

When private land is needed for wind development, the landowners who own the land are in a position to benefit financially. We recognize that land is a precious commodity and we’ve taken the time to develop a lease and a landowner relations process that protects landowner interests and ensures they receive a fair and rewarding source of income from the wind farm. Community and Government Relations

Wasatch Wind believes in an open and transparent communications process with the community. Without community support a wind development will not move forward. We want to be a part of your community and work with you to ensure the greatest benefits are realized.
