Our Projects

Wasatch Wind developed the first commercial-scale operating wind farm in Utah - the Spanish Fork Wind farm in Spanish Fork City. This 18.9 MW, nine turbine project was completed in August of 2008 and is located approximately 50 miles south of Salt Lake City.

NEWS Friday, June 25, 2013  The Wyoming Industrial Siting Council granted Park City, Utah-based Wasatch Wind Intermountain LLC a 10-month extension to prove it has sufficient financial resources to construct, maintain, operate and reclaim its project. click here.

NEWS April 17, 2013  In 1999, Andy Swapp bought a small farm outside Milford, in central Utah. When he plowed a field, the tail end of the Santa Ana winds, he says, picked up the topsoil and “sand-blasted the paint off the side of the barn.” That was when he realized the power of wind.   - City Weekly

NEWS September 20, 2012  Wasatch Wind is pleased to again sponsor HawkWatch International's annual Fundraising Event, Wings Across the West, taking place on Thursday, September 20 at University of Utah's Rice Eccles Stadium.

Wasatch Wind is an independent wind energy developer. Our efforts are focused in the Intermountain West. 

We successfully completed the development of Utah’s first commercial-scale wind facility in Spanish Fork City in 2008.
